About
What is happening now?
JFKcares is an initiative of the John F. Kennedy International Airport triggered by the incredible devastation after Hurricane Ian. The purpose of JFKcare is not only limited to this one calamity. We would like to use this initiative as a vehicle for any future disasters or crisis situations as one central place for the entire airport community to come together and help.
As for our response to Hurricane Ian, we have a network of people here in New York, but also on the ground in Southwest Florida that see firsthand the scope of the need and what is the best way for us to be of help.
At this point, all raised funds are being donated to the Harry Chapin Food Bank in Fort Myers, Florida.
JFKcares does not take any of the donated financial means; it is 100% voluntary and all business expenses and time to run it are donated.
